DESCRIPTION: I have grown up on the north west coast of California with my sisters. My parents homeschool me and supported me in following my passions. I taught myself to paint, and once I began there was no stopping. I love to paint with watercolor because of the ability to create fluid motions and transparent colors. I am inspired by the natural beauty of the world around me. Magnificent colors, sunlight, and shadows mesmerize me. I am a ballet and contemporary dancer and I find that painting dancers helps me to become a better dancer myself. And in turn, dancing teaches me to add feeling and motion to my artwork.
