MEDIUM: Oil on Raw Canvas
DIMENSIONS: 24″ x 24.4″
DESCRIPTION: The piece was created on a raw cut of canvas and primed using acrylic paint. I then used oil point over the top, combined and thinned using linseed oil and turpentine.
My desire for this piece resides in the idea of loss of control. I chose raw canvas to inspire me to release previous constraints and allow myself to experiment with colour combinations and how they react with a more relaxed base.
